PUYI
PUYI Online Store
I joined this project in the middle satge, most of the key feature pages like homepage, product listing page and checkout pages were done by the senior designer and confirmed by the clients. My job in this project is to follow the UX wireframe and finsih the other feature pages such as account, shopping cart and some static content pages. As a beginner of UI designer, it gave me a great chance to know more about the design and development of eCommerce website
eCommerce Feature
Except the homepage and the product listing pages, I worked on the account page and store location page. I also helped with the updates of the product listing and detail page according to the client needs and comments.
Blog Post & News
PUYI Optical pays a close attention to the fashion trend. Blog & News is a important feature that they can share the brand news and luxury products to public.
Select Lens Index
A little different from a normal eCommerce website, it had a feature that if the customers are clear about their lens index they can select their lens index during checkout.
Eye Exam Reservation
If the customers not sure about their lens index, they can reserve an eye exam and select a frame for try-on.
PUYI Stores
There are several PUYI Stores in HongKong and they have different interior design styles and store names. It is worth to show them all in the website.
Characteristics of Stores
PUYI always can provide us many high quality photos and product images during the website development. I believe these high quality key visuals can increase the completion rates of the website. I made good use of these store images to design a consistent layout for all the store page.
Static Content Pages
Beside the above UI and design work, I did some static page's html & CSS coding. I am not programmer but I just did some simple CSS animation demos for the frontend programmer to follow.
About PUYI
This is one of the pages that I did the html & CSS. I had separated the whole page into several section and animated each section with the browser full screen just like presenting a storyboard.
Informative Pages
Sometimes the frontend programmers were busy, I might need to finish the static content pages ,such as Contact US, T&C, Vision Care, Warranty & Repair and PUYI service. These pages are just informative and did not need api support.
